Register by September 10, 11:59 p.m. EDT for the Energy in Emerging Markets Case Competition at Duke University.

We are excited to invite top graduate programs worldwide to compete in the 11th annual Energy in Emerging Markets Case Competition (EEMC2), sponsored by the Duke Fuqua MBA Energy Club and the James E. Rogers Energy Access Project at Duke University.

The contest connects students, academia, and industry in pursuit of unconventional business-based solutions that expose unrecognized opportunities with positive social and environmental impact. It is your chance to tackle real-life, pressing energy business challenges and win some extra cash, with a total of $15,000 in prizes awarded to the winning student teams. In addition to the chance to win prize money, participants will gain practical experience developing business strategies for Okra Solar, this year’s industry partner.

If you have any questions, email us at: mohamed.ramadan@duke.edu

The competition is part of Energy Week at Duke. This weeklong event series, which draws over 1,000 attendees annually, is one of the country’s premier opportunities for emerging leaders in energy and climate to learn, collaborate, and network with experts in the industry. The 8th annual Energy Week will explore the equity implications of the clean energy transition, and how the implementation of energy policies impacts communities in North Carolina and beyond. Registration for other Energy Week events, including the one-day Duke University Energy Conference (Nov. 8), will be opening later this fall.
