In Case You Missed It…

The ESMAP Insights Webinar Series discusses the power of energy surveys as a tool for identifying policy options and project ideas to improve energy access.

During the first webinar participants gained an understanding of the so-called Energy Access Dividend (EAD) and its significance in quantifying and monetizing the benefits of electrification. Through the application of the EAD model in Haiti and Honduras, using household survey data and Multi-Tier Framework survey results, participants learned to use the model and leverage microdata to enhance project design and policy dialogue. The panelists also shared experiences and recommendations for refining survey methodologies.
