Jide Olutoke is a graduate student at the Sanford School of Public Policy, Duke University. He is focusing on Energy and International Development policy with an interest in development finance, sustainable cities, renewable energy, cleantech, and impact investing. He graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Ile-Ife in Nigeria with a major in Economics.
Previously, Jide worked as a Regulatory Policy Analyst in a boutique Investment Bank in Lagos Nigeria where he developed policies and frameworks while ensuring compliance with the global banking standards. He is currently working on policies that support the financing and scaling of transformative low-carbon development pathways in low- and middle-income countries. Jide is passionate about community development, and he has been involved in volunteering activities in Nigeria, Coted-Ivoire, and the United States. He enjoys watching documentaries, driving, hiking, and map reading.
