The Fifth Annual Meeting of the Sustainable Energy Transitions Initiative (SETI)

September 17-19, 2020

On September 17 – 19, 2020, SETI met for its fifth annual workshop on global energy transitions research. The workshop was held virtually over Zoom, and featured sessions focused on low- and middle-income countries related to the demand and supply of electricity; renewables; woodfuel transitions and impacts on forests; more efficient and/or clean cookstoves; energy and firms; and studies of climate and energy policy.

Schedule

The workshop unfolded over three days divided into 9 research sessions, coordinated at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. The meeting welcomed 152 participants representing 26 countries connecting via Zoom.
