Faustin Kambale Luhungu
Candidate, Master of International Development and Policy
Faustin Kambale Luhungu is a Master of International Development and Policy candidate at Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy and a Fulbright scholar. Before joining Duke, he worked at the Ministry of Planning in Kinshasa in charge of monitoring and evaluation. Also, he managed projects with Solidarité Internationale, where he oversaw humanitarian projects for community recovery. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the High Institute of Trade of Goma-(Institut Supérieur de Commece de Goma).
Faustin’s research interest includes critical natural management, energy & environmental policy, and local community empowerment. His current research examines the cost and benefit analysis of lithium-ion battery production in DRC. Faustin enjoys watching documentaries, walking & biking, playing soccer and reading.
