Jiyeong Pyo

Candidate, Master of Environmental Management

Jiyeong Pyo is a Master of Environmental Management (MEM) candidate at Duke University, specializing in Energy and Environmental Policy (EEP). She currently serves as a Research Assistant at the Duke Nicholas Institute’s Energy Access Project, where she analyzes e-mobility transitions and energy economics in sub-Saharan Africa. 

Jiyeong holds a dual undergraduate degree in Economics and Environmental Studies from Seoul National University. Her research focuses on integrating micro-finance and fiscal policy to accelerate energy transitions in developing economies, leveraging her strong background in economic analysis to address real-world credit constraints in the transport sector.
