Lambert Ngenzi is a first-year Master of environmental management at the Nicholas School of the Environment. He grew up in the Republic of Congo and immigrated to Seattle, WA with his family. Before moving to Duke, he worked as an analyst at a conservation consulting firm and river restoration non-profit. After graduating from Washington State University with a degree in Environmental Science, Lambert worked in West Uganda as a Princeton in Africa conservation fellow until evacuated due to Covid-19. During his undergraduate studies, he conducted research on land use patterns in the Volta Basin. Lambert aspires to pursue a career in international development specifically in disadvantaged communities.
